BICSc Membership

BICS offer a variety of membership levels for Individuals and Organisations who wish to take advantage of the benefits associated with BICS Membership.

All membership applications are assessed by the Institute to determine the most appropriate level for individual applicants.

Individual Membership

STUDENT MEMBER
Suitable candidates are over 16 years of age who are carrying out a recognised course of study relating to the science and practice of cleaning.

PRACTITIONER (PBICSc)
Suitable candidates are holders of a Foundation Certificate, Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate or Food Premises Cleaning Certificate with one year's continuous employment in the cleaning or allied industry.

ASSOCIATE (ABICSc)
Suitable candidates are over 21 years of age who meet the criteria for Practitioner membership and have at least five years service in the cleaning or allied industry (or similar).

Suitable candidates are over 21 years of age with qualifiying experience and qualifications supported by demonstrable evidence of standard raising performance in their position.

Corporate Membership

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Companies wishing to join as Corporate Members are required to have been trading for one complete year, to provide a sponsoring corporate member or client and give certain undertakings, which include conforming to the Institute's Code of Practice.
