Members of the BICSc Technical Team will bring the BICSc Cleaning Professional’s Skills Suite to life with live demonstrations throughout the day, members of Team BICSc will be on hand to talk to you about how BICSc and BBS can help support your business.
CLEAN2020 will also feature an exhibition that will showcase the latest industry trends, products, and services, lunch is included which offers excellent networking opportunities.

The Planet Mark is a sustainability certification which recognises continuous improvement in organisations, encourages practical action, and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals.
Jonathan joined The Planet Mark because he believes in the importance of effective measurement, engagement and communication in sustainability. He helps organisations build positive brands and make progress on their sustainability journeys as society transitions to a more sustainable way of living.

Andrew heads up the BICSc Scientific Advisory Group, and holds a PhD in surface disinfection and decontamination. His specialist area of research is testing for bio burden, long term disinfection and decontamination. Dr Kemp consults for governments, private organisations, and companies. He is regarded as a global expert in his specialist area of work, undertaking research at the University of Lincoln and the University of Baltimore.

Sally has focussed her career in technical and vocational education with experience gained in further/higher education, awarding/accrediting bodies and WorldSkills. Senior positions were held with the Institute of Leadership & Management and City & Guilds over fourteen years. From 2012-2015 she was Project Director for two government funded WorldSkills research and development projects. Sally is currently a freelance technical and vocational education advisor, and it is in this capacity that she works with the British Institute of Cleaning Science.
Dr Sally Messenger and Dr Andrew Kemp will join Denise Hanson, Head of Technical Services at BICSc for a topical Q&A session during the conference. A chance to submit your questions to three industry specialists.
Faye joined Mind in 2015 to lead on the development and implementation of a Cabinet funded programme to address the mental health of emergency services employees. The Blue Light Programme now in its fourth year, and has delivered a range of interventions to staff and volunteers from ambulance, fire, police and search and rescue services across England and Wales.

Michel has over 30 years of cleaning industry knowledge and experience, which includes Senior Sales Director roles at Electrolux Euroclean (Benelux) and Nilfisk Advance (Benelux). Michel is also the European Chairman at ISSA.
Keynote: ‘The importance of being green’. This session will look at the positive impact of green cleaning products, and how they are more beneficial to the environment. Michel will also explore current trends, and look at how together we can improve the image of the cleaning industry.

A specialist from Citation will join the line-up of speakers to take us through ‘The Good Work Plan’ which covers advances in technology and wider societal trends are changing how, when and where we work. As part of the governments Industrial Strategy, the good work plan is there to ensure the UK labour market remains successful and competitive and ready to embrace the benefits of change, including those brought by new employment models.
