|Overall purpose of post||To deliver a range of training programmes to clients and members, ensuring that programmes are fit for purpose and comply with company standards.
To contribute to the development of new training, development and learning modules, using different methodologies including classroom, practical and online, in line with the company business plan and mission statement.
To develop a sales pipeline and increase outward bound sales activity in conjunction with office based staff.
|Hours of Work||Varies as required to meet client needs, generally Monday to Friday|
BICSc and the work we do
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) is the largest independent, professional and educational body within the cleaning industry providing training and education, setting standards and procedures for cleaning. BICSc membership now stands at over 10,000 individual and corporate members in the UK and Internationally.
Develop and deliver training programmes to UK and International Clients, either at the BBS Training Centre, the Client’s site or other locations as required
|Education/Training||BICSc Licensed Assessor
Trained and assessed as competent to teach and assess a minimum of 50% of CPSS Version 2.0 skills
|Nationally recognised teaching qualification
Nationally recognised health and safety qualification
Customer service qualification
|Relevant Experience||A minimum of 3 years delivering practical and classroom training
A minimum of 3 years working in the cleaning or facilities management industry
Developing existing learning packages
|Creating new learning packages
Developing bespoke, client specific training packages
Event or project management
|Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to use a variety of teaching methodologies to convey information to learners
Confident, capable user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel
Having an in depth understanding of the importance of high level customer service
|Ability to understand complex training products and services
Able to contribute ideas for improving sales support processes
|Personal Characteristics||Desire to teach others and overcome barriers to learning
Highly organised, enthusiastic and self motivated
Able to prioritise own workload
Desire to provide a first class service
|Special Requirements||Holds a driving licence
|Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate specific client training requirements
Willing to travel and stay overnight both in the UK and internationally
