15. Verification Feedback - BICSc

As a BICSc Licensed Assessor and Member of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, you play a vital role in supporting the BICSc Mission.

The team at BICSc would like to thank you for your help and support in helping us to achieve this mission.

In order for you continue to support the mission and maintain the high standard that BICSc require for all its Licensed Assessors, your Verification Support Coordinator and those of the Verification Team support you over the 12 month period you are licensed.

It is standard practice for you to meet your Verification Support Coordinator once a year, that being at the Annual Audit. However those in the Verification Team also facilitate Approvals and follow up visits, so there are other opportunities for you to meet them throughout the year.

Typically these visits will be approximately 4 hours in duration. This is a small window of opportunity for Licensed Assessors to demonstrate to the Verification Support Coordinator that standards have maintained or improved. During that visit, the Verification Support Coordinator is required to discuss areas for improvement (if required) and to share best practice. This will help you to maintain that high standard that BICSc require for their delivery.

In addition to the above points, the CPSS Mandatory Units may require the Assessor to prepare an Assessment Briefing with additional detail. For example:

In order for us to improve the standard of the Verification Visit and to make better use of our short visit, starting in January 2014, following every Verification Visit, BICSc would like to send an electronic survey to the Lead Assessor of the Centre visited.

The survey is designed to give Licensed Assessors the opportunity to provide feedback, whether that is negative or positive. The opportunity for anonymity is available. The results will be reviewed by the Customer Service and Verification Team in order to improve its service to you as Licensed Assessors.

Your feedback is very welcomed and if you feel that you have something to share please do not wait until the survey arrives. The Customer Service and Verification Team are happy to hear from you.
