On Thursday the 6th of November 2014 The British Cleaning Council held their annual conference at Dexter House in London (sponsored by Kimberly Clark Professional).
The BCC annual conference is one of the most significant events in the cleaning industry calendar. It reviews and reports on current industry trends and explores ways in which the cleaning industry can work together and strive for improvement. This year had many well-respected and influential speakers take to the stage discussing a variety of topical issues.
Here’s what stakeholders of the British Institute of Cleaning Science had to say about the event.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the day networking and felt that the effort put into the day the venue. The speakers and lunch were definitely superb as was the MC. Brilliant location easy to navigate too and the speakers topics were all extremely helpful.”
“I can say that it was a great event from location to speakers, current topics with enthusiastic participation by speakers and the attendees all showing their passion for the industry and relaying common goals we are striving to achieve.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed the day, both for the quality of the speakers and the networking opportunities it afforded. The venue was well located for travel, refreshments and lunch were of a high standard and it was obvious that good planning and attention to detail were high on the organiser’s lists.
The speakers covered a diverse range of material from the importance of background checks, the potential impact of the living wage to the incredible work carried out by the school for children with cerebral palsy, each speaker brought something of interest to the podium and where happy to take questions.
The panel at the end of the day rose to the challenge of the questions posed and rounded the day off perfectly, I look forward to next years event.”
“I thought the conference excellent. The Q and A particularly so. I liked the breadth of the speakers from all parts of the political spectrum. good venue. Excellent networking.”
“In my opinion, this was the best BCC Conference to date. The quality and variety of speakers worked really well with Mitie’s Ruby McGregor-Smith and Easyjet’s former marketing director, Tony Anderson, being the real highlights. Industry presentations from the likes of Reintec’s Paul Lewis and Enhance Office Cleaning’s Sandy Aird were also very well received. Congratulations to all involved – an excellent day.”
