If you have ever thought of become a member of BICSc Counci now is the perfect time to do something about it, as applications are currently open for membership to the Council.

The BICSc Council is made up of industry professionals who are passionate about maintaining the Institute’s position as the UK’s preeminent membership and training body. These elections give BICSc members the chance to become part of the Institute’s decision making process, and to use their considerable knowledge and experience to help shape its future. 

Council members are elected by a ballot of all BICSc members to serve a three year term, with one member of Council elected as Chairman for a two year term. To stand as a candidate for the Council applicants must be fully paid up BICSc members continuously for at least 3 years, and abide by the Institute’s code of practice.

Being elected to serve on the BICSc Council is a professional milestone that carries real kudos across the cleaning industry.

The Institute wants to hear from members who really want to get involved and who have a vison for the future. BICSc can only thrive if it has its best people at the helm, so if you think you can make a difference please do fill out an application form.

Potential candidates will need a proposer and seconder, and will need to attend an interview before being selected.

Please submit a personal profile (no more than 200 words) which states what qualities you will bring to BICSc Council. Please attach a photograph of the applicant in JPEG format.

You will also need to include the contact details of a proposer and a seconder. Your proposer and seconder will need to be fully paid up BICSc members that are willing to support your application in becoming a member of the BICSc Council.
