The BICSc Licence to Practice provides the foundation units necessary for a Cleaning Operative to perform their role safely and efficiently.
All operatives who complete their Licence to Practice are issued with a Licence to Practice Card.
All candidates must complete the Licence to Practice Unit. This unit has been made compulsory to protect the safety of cleaning operatives, users of buildings as well as to promote sustainability. The minimum requirement for CPSS is the Licence to Practice assessment.
Delivery of the Licence to Practice is interactive using a mixture of presentations, exercises and discussion sessions. The course is 80% practical and builds upon the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected by the industry.
We hold Licence to Practice days throughout the year, which take place at the BBS Training Centre in Northampton as well as with our associate training providers. You can book a place on one of the available dates below.
