Cleaning Science: Getting the Basics Right

3rd March 2026, 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm

A BDMA masterclass

It is often thought that anyone can clean, but here at BICSc best practice and exacting standards are at the heart of everything we do. We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to come along and see just what is involved. Our Training Centre has a variety of floor and wall finishes, with several commonly found room types and staged areas. Designed for demonstration it provides a safe space to trial and learn cleaning methods, products and machinery.

This session will offer insights into the legal requirements of COSHH and Risk Assessment as well as tips and tricks of cleaning methodology. The Masterclass offers something for everyone involved in the Cleaning Industry.

The Masterclass will cover the essential starting points for everyone in the Cleaning Industry, the safety checks, the safe storage and transport of chemicals and equipment and how to deliver a great standard of cleaning.
