Outstanding Corporate Member of the year
This award is presented to a BICSc Corporate Member for their outstanding corporate commitment to the Institute and through excellence in supporting the Institute’s goal of Creating a Career in Cleaning!
Excellence in Training & Assessment (UK)
This award is for training and development by an Accredited Training Member, who is audited and approved to deliver BICSc training and assessment within their organisation. A stipulation is that any entrants must be based in Great Britain.
Excellence in Training & Assessment (International)
This award is for training and development by an Accredited Training Member, who is audited and approved to deliver BICSc training and assessment within their organisation. All applicable entrants must be based outside of Great Britain.
Assessor of the Year
This award acknowledges the success of an inspirational individual Licensed Assessor who, when it comes to exacting standards, continues to strive to raise the bar. The accolade will be awarded to someone who demonstrates an outstanding level of passion, professionalism, and commitment to excellence for their students and themselves.
Outstanding Client Commitment by a Cleaning Operative (New for 2022)
This inaugural award, being presented for the first time in 2022, will see nominations for candidates submitted by their client. This award is for an individual who exhibits exceptional commitment to BICSc standards. They will be a supporting figure when it comes to excellent service delivery. Nominees must hold a valid BICSc Licence to Practice and be employed by an Accredited Training Member.
Outstanding Candidate of the Year
This special award is reserved to reflect the exceptional achievement of an individual and their award of BICSc qualifications. The focus will be centred on how the candidate has been able to achieve an award against personal difficulties or adversity. It shines a spotlight on someone who has gone the extra mile to complete and receive BICSc qualifications within the workplace.
Institute Awards are considered to be some of the most prestigious accolades within the cleaning industry; recipients are carefully chosen by BICSc Council and the BICSc Training & Services Board. These awards cannot be applied for.
The Chairman’s Award
The Institute’s premier accolade is the most prestigious award which is presented to an inspirational individual who has demonstrated an ongoing outstanding contribution to the Institute and wider cleaning industry.
The Eric Hill Award
In honour of our founder Eric Hill, this award goes to an individual for their outstanding, pioneering, past service to the Institute. It is given with specific attention to their exemplary contribution within the field of training and education alongside their unrelenting support of The Institute.
THE BICSc INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR RAISING THE PROFILE OF THE CLEANING INDUSTRY
This award is presented to an inspirational individual or outstanding organisation that has promoted BICSc training and standards outside the United Kingdom and achieved recognition of this within the cleaning industry, encouraging excellence on a global scale.
COMMITMENT TO BICSc TRAINING WITHIN HEALTHCARE
This award is to recognise an organisation working within the healthcare sector who apply BICSc training to support excellence in cleaning standards and qualifications across the healthcare settings they support and operate within.
COMMITMENT TO BICSc TRAINING WITHIN EDUCATION
This award honours an organisation within the education sector who use BICSc training to support excellence in cleaning standards and qualifications across the educational facilities they support.
COMMITMENT TO BICSc TRAINING WITHIN DAILY COMMERCIAL CLEANING (NEW FOR 2022)
This inaugural award, being presented for the first time in 2022, is to recognise an exceptional organisation within the daily commercial cleaning sector who use BICSc training to support excellence in cleaning standards and qualifications across the facilities they support.
