The Reality Is Here – So Why Aren't We?

Digitalisation, AI and innovation are already shaping the cleaning industry, delivering tangible results across operations, service delivery and workforce efficiency. Yet despite this, adoption remains uneven—often slowed by uncertainty, limited understanding, or reluctance to move beyond traditional approaches.

This panel will explore the gap between what is already happening in practice and what the wider industry perceives, challenging assumptions and highlighting real‑world examples of digital innovation in action today. It will examine the barriers to wider adoption, from skills and training to mindset and organisational readiness, and consider what needs to change for the industry to fully embrace this reality.
Bringing together voices from across the sector—including frontline practitioners, suppliers, training providers and recognised industry bodies—the discussion will provide a practical, balanced perspective on where we are now and how the industry can move forward with confidence and clarity.

How Digital Operations Support Business Growth and Compliance

As cleaning businesses grow, operational complexity grows with them. More sites, more employees, more client expectations and stricter documentation requirements can quickly make manual processes difficult to manage.

This session explores how digital operations can help cleaning companies create better structure, reduce administrative pressure and gain clearer visibility across the business. We will look at how tools for scheduling, audits and time & attendance can support growth, improve accountability and help businesses stay compliant without adding unnecessary workload.
