The White Rose of Peace Walk 2022

What is the White Rose of Peace about

  • We will be hosting the White Rose of Peace Walk 2022 initially across Ireland. The idea behind this new initiative is to give Momentum Support’s employees, family and friends and industry partners the opportunity to walk in unity to highlight the cause of world peace

How do I take part

  • Participants will walk a route of their choice, anywhere in Ireland, with the option of carrying a single white rose to symbolise peace. Participants can choose their walking trail by clicking on the link in the description below and together we will walk the cumulative goal of 3171 kilometers, which is the distance of walking the entire way around the coast of the island of Ireland.

History

  • The idea for the White Rose of Peace Walk developed when I attended the European Cleaning and Hygiene Awards, where Momentum Support achieved the Sustainability Best Practice award. While accepting the award, I gave the symbol of peace, as the cause of spreading peace is very close to my heart. Following this I shared my vision to one day develop a peace initiative on a global scale, which has now led to our White Rose of Peace Walk on September 11th.

The Initiative

  • The initiative has been very positively received across the company, and we are delighted by the response we have seen so far from enthusiastic participants. It has also been incredibly gratifying to receive support from some of our industry partners who have shared information about the White Rose of Peace Walk with their members.
